went out with karms today...omg. haven't seen her in the longest time! totally missed her! we had soo much fun! thanks to me- who is soo broke, we went on a 'budget' date!
  • ate at crystal jade
  • went to zara and esprit to try on clothes for fun
karmy made me wear this super short skirt which makes me look like some slut.




 I actually like those black shorts!



anyways, job hunting is sooo hard! but I'm kinda excited to work, though I know its NOT fun.

did 3 things yesterday:



  • met claire to watch 'gameplan' in the morning (it was so nice!)

  • went job hunting with claire and wen

  • and had an ultra cheapo date with wen til night

sigh...job hunting is soo tiring. some places don't even hire people below 18! how troublesome right! it was like rejection after rejection (though thanks to cip last time, this rejection was nothing). so after claire left, wen n I continued to job hunt until we decided to just be waitresses. so we're continuing tommorrow! check out the determination man! OH YEAH... lol. thanks to beauty requirements, wen n I were broke. we bout modanyaki with out last few dollars...only to realise we were really thirsty after walking around. so we used my last 60 cents to buy a bottle of water from Isetan to share at macafe. LOL. we sat there for like an hour, refilling our water before going to mango to try on clothes for some cheap fun. I found a yellow dress i absolutely adore! but it's like 70 bucks- not worth the price. BUT IT'S SO PRETTY! see, the unjust of reality? when you're on cloud 9, it happily lugs you down to reality. SIGHHH

KOREA

korea. a land of beautiful leaves in autumn. went there for 8 days, it was really fun, but also tiring. bought'to mostly skincare stuff compared to my initial intention to buy clothes. it's winter- what clothes could I possibly buy. things were pretty ex too, aside from FACE SHOP! LOL. I spent so much there, they gave me like 8 different free gifts! how funky is that! LOL. the amusement parks were really cool too!

met jai n wen to go to sentosa yesterday. but before that, I headed down to the ICA building to update my passport photo in time for my trip- only...to realise they stopped providing that service anymore. instead, now you have to get a whole new passport. how troublesome and what a complete waste of time. on the way...I came into contact with the ugly side of singaporeans...typical:
  1. during the early rush hour, adults would just shove their way in so desperately just so that they can get in. why can't they just wait for the next train? plain annoying...
  2. people just bump into you without apologizing- is it that hard?
  3. no wonder singapore is rated the 3rd unfriendliest country in the world.

okay, enough of that. so here's how I spent my day:

  • played 1 round of luge
  • placed our mat at the beach and went to swim. there was like this 1 girl n 7 guys swimming...then when we walked towards the sea to swim, they were like staring at us. super :S plus, they were sooo not cool.
  • after swimming, we walked over to 7-11 to buy some food and headed back to eat
  • wen and I tanned while jai read. there was like this huge group or guys and girls near us, who were like talking sooo loudly, it was super annoying, cos I couldnt sleep. according to jai, they kept turning back [us]
  • went swimming again, wen attempted to get the lifeguard's attention despite it being a girl..
  • went to bathe
  • played 2 more rounds of luge
  • cam-whored at some place. some caucasians found our jumping shots so amusing, they asked us to jump once for them. rather funny
  • went over to vivo for wen to shop
  • went home real tired

overall, tanning was great :) cos i got burnt but just pinkish and my skin didnt hurt nor peel. plus, it was a good colour :D not too dark, just nice. I wanna do it again!
