the nightmare before Christmas

yupp. that's right, the nightmare before Christmas: crowd control at Orchard. it was TERRIBLE. I repeat, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. especially the outdoor space between wisma and taka...can die. and it's sooo annoying cos people just shove past you with absolute ignorance and no apologies. how rude. and it doesn't help being so close to the tents and being light...like some pathetic pushover like that. people just bump you so hard you could just fall onto the plastic tents. and these 2 groups of people in particular...this group of taiwanese and another group of malays...I was soo annoyed, if I was there for another 2 minutes, I would have shouted 'lay off fat b****** or s****' (whichever works better). and therefore, the lesson that I learnt:

  • never go to town on festive nights. or rather, walk outside. it's to die for
  • and IF I do that, I'm gonna carry NEEDLES. we'll see who's gonna have a clear path now. ok, I take that back. I'm gonna carry needles EVERYWHERE I go. so no more shoving.
