Happy Birthday Claireslept at 4 trying to finish claire's picture book last night...then woke up at 0730 so I could get ready to meet wen at holland v at 10. we bought a really cute cookie cutter in memory of her baking as well as the coolest, hugest balloon ever! damn cute! damn ex too, but totally worth it! haha. then the biggest joke happened.
when we alighted at the ac bustop, shuwen tripped and let go of the big balloon. so we were screaming and screaming after the balloon while watching it float towards the huge tree. stuck. great...shuwen was considering borrowing a ladder from school (which, would be useless cos it was wayyyy too high up and the branch stretched over the road), then she considered climbing the tree. haha. she was like cursing and swearing away while xinfu and KT (dunno how to spell his name) were staring and sort of laughing at her. LOL. here are the many ways she tried to get the balloon down:
- get sc and soccer gang to create a human ladder to grab the balloon
- ask xinfu to climb the tree
- SHE climb a tree
- or climb a ladder
- get the construction people to use their crane
whatever it was, she was ready to risk her life for it! it's so funny. LOL. imagine shuwen climbing a tree. then miraculously...the balloon got unstuck and started floating down to the other tree opposite...and down again the opposite way, RIGHT INTO MY ARMS! it was SO COOL. hahaha. after that, shuwen almost let go of it again- thankfully I held it. and after that, she held on to it for her dear life. hahaha. we waited for claire to finish dance and SURPRISE! she surprise until can cry. LOL. ok, that marks pretty much the end of what happened today for claire's birthday.
after which, wen and I headed down to raffles city, citylink, suntec.
raffles city- went to accessorize, topshop, river island and dorothy perkins, where wen bought a new black wallet, and I bought a new belt. so yay! we're broke...
citylink- boring as hell.
suntec-went to 'YES!' to get wen's pair of black glasses, walked to the miss sixties and designer sale. There I almost bought a ralph lauren kids age 6 pullover as a top! quite nice!, just NO MONEY :( stupid eh. then we went to gloria jeans to eat. nothing special.
the ride home was fantastic nap for me...it felt as if I fell into a deep sleep. and from bishan to khatib...it was as if I had entered into nothingness. I'm tired!
